The Journal of Finance and Business Studies (JFBS) is an international bi-annual publication of the Institute of Finance Management (IFM). JFBS focuses on the dynamic interplay between financial practices, business operations, and market environments, making it applicable to both local and global contexts. JFBS publishes a wide range of scholarly articles that encompass various subjects, including, but not limited to,banking and financial systems,investment and market analysis, insurance and risk management, social protection, business development, and actuarial science and quantitative finance.

Aim and Scope

The Journal of Finance and Business Studies (JFBS) is an international bi-annual publication of the Institute of Finance Management (IFM). JFBS focuses on the dynamic interplay between financial practices, business operations, and market environments, making it applicable to both local and global contexts. JFBS publishes a wide range of scholarly articles that encompass various subjects, including, but not limited to the following: 

 

Banking and Financial Systems: Examines banking operations and their influence on business financing mechanisms and financial markets, with a focus on understanding the regulatory and other impacts on banking and financing practices.

Investment and Market Analysis: Focuses on analyzing market trends, conducting meticulous market evaluations, and exploring business valuation techniques to guide investment decisions.

Insurance and Risk Management: Investigates various insurance products, their structural frameworks, and their relationships with business practices and market dynamics. It highlights trends and challenges within the insurance sector and focuses on methodologies for identifying, assessing, and managing organizational risks.

Social Protection: Analyzes financial sustainability and welfare programs, assessing their effectiveness in improving economic stability and social well-being.

Business Development: Emphasizes strategic approaches for fostering financial growth within businesses, including entrepreneurship, market expansion strategies, and financial management practices.

Actuarial Science and Quantitative Finance: Focuses on integrating advanced mathematical and statistical techniques, applying rigorous analytical techniques to real-world challenges in risk management and financial planning.

Global Finance and Business Practices: Encourages submissions that provide insights into the complexities and challenges of finance and business in a globalized environment.
