The Journal of Innovation and Social Science Research (JISSR) is an international bi-annual publication by the Institute of Finance Management (IFM), aimed at fostering interdisciplinary research that deepens the understanding of innovation and social science while providing valuable insights for both academia and practical applications in society. The journal covers a diverse range of topics, including: Social Innovation, Technology and Digital Innovation, Computing Innovation, Development Studies, Innovation and Social Policies, Anthropology, Sociology, Psychology, Economics, Political Science, Legal Issues, Education, Human Resource Management, Management Sciences, and Innovative Research Methodologies.

Aim and Scope

The Journal of Innovation and Social Science Research (JISSR) is an international bi-annual publication by the Institute of Finance Management (IFM), aimed at fostering interdisciplinary research that deepens the understanding of innovation and social science while providing valuable insights for both academia and practical applications in society. The journal covers a diverse range of topics, including:

 

Social Innovation: Focuses on studies that tackle societal challenges through novel products, services, or approaches that enhance community well-being, promote inclusivity, and drive positive social change.

Technology and Digital Innovation: Explores advancements in scientific and technological fields, ranging from biotechnology to renewable energy. It also examines digital technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), and blockchain, in revolutionizing products, services, and operational processes to address complex global issues and improve quality of life.

Computing Innovation: Studies that pioneer breakthroughs in computing technologies and information systems, enabling new capabilities, enhancing cybersecurity, and driving digital evolution across industries.

Development Studies: Focuses on entrepreneurship, community development, international relations, and gender studies.

Innovation and Social Policies: Addresses the development of effective innovation and social policies, evaluating their impacts and proposing policy solutions grounded in empirical research.

Anthropology: Examines how linguistics, communication, culture, biology, and history shape human diversity.

Sociology: Studies the structure of groups, organizations, and societies and how people interact within these contexts.

Psychology: Focuses on theories and studies attempting to understand cognitive, emotional, and behavioral processes that individuals face in their daily lives.

Economics: Investigates how economic systems function, assessing their strengths and weaknesses to resolve economic problems.

Political Science: Develops an understanding of institutions, practices, and relations that constitute public life and modes of inquiry that promote citizenship.

Legal Issues: Explores topics related to the legal implications of innovations on societies.

Education: Examines how people learn and develop.

Human Resource Management: Investigates the intersection of managing employee relations and the financial implications of human resource strategies.

Management Sciences: Studies systematic and quantitative methodologies for effective decision-making in management.
