Rationale

There is an unwavering consensus on advancing social and economic development world-wide. This zeal is manifested by the world-wide Sustainable Development Goals. However, in the wake of climate change, global pandemic, war, and other global challenges, there is a risk of leaving behind a segment of the population. Designing and implementing effective and efficient policies and strategies to promote inclusion in the public and private spheres remains a dilemma. The fast-changing technology and innovation present both opportunities and challenges. It is against this backdrop, that research and policy discourse become important if the countries and the entire global society are to realize the goal of building up inclusive development through innovation.
